Sustainable single-family home in Sant Pere de Ribes

PROJECT DATA

A simple, rectangular volume is proposed, hanging over the natural unevenness of the terrain. The protective outer skin collects the inner glass volume. The openings in the exterior skin allow natural light to enter the interior and create the connection with the outside.

Taking advantage of the natural slope of the land, access to the building is created through stairs integrated with the land. Access is protected by the overhanging part of the building.

The living room opens to the outside through the terrace.

An open and bright day space is created. The coexistence of the building and nature turns this part of the building into an attractive relaxation area.

The horizontal slats in the openings of the exterior skin protect the glazed parts from the sun, filtering natural light into the interior. This solution allows you to reduce expenses and is one of the elements of sustainable architecture.
